Aiming at the recreation of vivid personal memories and at the exposure of deep and universal human emotions, I have been developing autobiographical narratives in live, video and audio performances, as well as in video installations. The question of absence, present throughout my work with a high level of intimacy, creates a strong relationship with the audience. Recurrent topics like absence, mourning, self-preservation have been used as content of those performances. I strive to deal with it in a poetic way mixed with sarcasm and irony. In my point of view, personal stories reach universal aspects, connecting the experiences of performer and audience, through identification and mirroring.
